The Liturgy Group covers quite a wide range of activities and keeps, if you like an overview with Fr Michael, of what is happening in the Parish.  The activities cover Holy Mass and the Sacraments, Announcers, Welcomers, Altar Servers, Readers, Eucharistic Ministers, Choir and Bell-Ringers.  Some of these activities simply have their own momentum and the people involved make it happen by arranging rotas.  Many thanks to those involved.

There are 3 groups, pre-school in which children are accompanied by a parent or guardian and school age in which children are expected to attend independently – Reception to First Holy Communion and those who have made their First Holy Communion.

There are three groups of children:

  • 5 and under:
  • up to 1st Holy Communion
  • after Holy Communion and upwards

Music Group

This group is for musicians of any age and a wide variety of instruments.   Young people are especially encouraged to get involved.  The group plays at Mass at various times during the year, often accompanying the choir on feast days and at Youth and Family Masses.  Rehearsals take place at times to suit the group.
